When you purchase from mywoodflooring, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:
mywoodflooring accepts payments by many different means which include by credit card, debit card, cheque or by bank transfer. We will not accept liability for any charges made by banks for bank transfer services.
When you place an order with mywoodflooring, you are making an offer to buy goods. We will send you an email to confirm that we have received your order. Once the payment has been received your order with be processed. While every effort will be made to ensure that all items shown are in stock we offer no guarantee of availability and this electronic publication does not constitute an offer of sale. Goods delivered normally arrive between 8am and 18:00, Monday to Friday. You are usually able to have delivery within 7 days of your order subject to stock. We will then email you to confirm your delivery date, or to arrange an alternate date that is convenient to you.
In the unlikely event that the goods are no longer available, or that we have made a pricing, or description mistake, we will advise you of this and there will be no contract between us. We will issue a refund in full within 7 days.
Due to the insurance guidelines, all flooring deliveries are made to kerb side at the nearest access point to the delivery address for the delivery vehicle. You must arrange for adequate help to off load the flooring, the driver cannot help move the flooring in to your home. As deliveries can be made by a large lorry or van, it is assumed that the delivery address will be accessible by lorry. If there is likely to be a problem, for example the road is subject to a vehicle weight or width limit, please inform us at the time of the order. If a courier arrives at your address and is unable to deliver on the arranged delivery date because you are not there, refuse to sign or you refuse delivery, you will be liable for the cost of any re-delivery charge where applicable. Deliveries cannot be left outside, in porches, garages or in any other location.
Every effort is made to ensure that your goods are delivered in perfect condition. Please inspect your goods immediately on delivery as no claims with regards to damage items may be made after our driver has left the delivery address, unless signed for as damaged on delivery. In the unlikely event that some of your goods are damaged, we will collect and replace the product. Any claims must be made within 7 days of receipt of the goods. No liability can be accepted for costs caused by late deliveries or for any other reason. Therefore, we advise against booking trades for installation until the goods have been received.
When you receive your order, please ensure that the quantities match what you ordered. To guarantee customer satisfaction, please make note of the following when receiving your order. Visually inspect the condition and entirety of your delivery, make sure to note missing items or quantities or damaged materials. The order confirmation email you received lists all the materials and quantities that you have ordered. You will need to examine the pallet and count each item to make sure everything ordered has been received. Please ensure that you inspect your goods prior to installation and that the goods are correct as per your order and that you are happy with the appearance and quality. Once the installation has started no claims for incorrect goods will be accepted. It is also the responsibility of the person installing the floor to de-select any faulty or damaged boards prior to the installation.
Here at mywoodflooring.co.uk we use the wholesalers own vehicles, or outside carriers being Parcel companies or pallet carriers. In the even that you are not entirely happy, the following policy will be adhered to: In accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to cancel your order up to 14 days after you have received the goods. If goods have not been dispatched, we will refund you the full invoice amount within 3 working days of notification.
If you have taken delivery of your goods, you must return the goods to us at your own expense following our authorisation. Returns will only be accepted within 14 days of receipt. We will then refund the order in full less any direct expenses we may have incurred in fulfilling the original agreement. Direct expenses incurred may include any delivery costs whether charged or not. Deliveries are calculated by weight and delivery location. All goods must be re-packed as they were received, Refunds will be made to the payment card that was initially used to make the purchase, within 7 days of the cancellation. Product guarantees are listed against the products, correct use of the products and circumstances of their use are the basis of any product guarantee. Guarantees are covered by the manufacturers and will be dealt with by them.
We offer a sampling service – this entails a pack being opened and cut in to jiffy bag pieces and dispatched on request. No pre selection takes place, as such the boards that you receive will vary in colour and grading of the wood. Being a natural product, shade variations will apply.
Whilst every effort is made to use a photograph as close to the real item as possible, some screens and browsers affect the colour of the picture displayed. Please take advantage of our sampling service for confidence.
You agree to indemnify us against any claim, losses, liabilities, damages and expenses (including legal fees)arising out of your use of this site.
The contract will be governed by the laws of England and Wales and the parties to the contract submit to the jurisdiction of the English court.
mywoodflooring reserves the right to remove or refuse to post any customer content that we consider inappropriate. If you do post content to submit material, unless we indicate otherwise, you grant mywoodflooring a non exclusive, royalty free, perpetual, irrevocable and fully sub licensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create works from, distribute and display such content. You grant mywoodflooring the right to use all information in connection with such content, if we choose to do so. This does not conflict with your right under the Data Protection Act 1998.
